Green Breakfast Smoothie
If you are always on the go or you find it hard to stomach breakfast, this smoothie is for you. Its packed full of healthy fats, complex carbohydrates, protein and greens to fuel your morning.
Low FODMAP - use maple syrup instead of honey. Use a banana that is unripe or replace with 1 cup fresh or frozen berries such as blueberries and / or raspberries.
Serves: 1
Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients –
1 banana, frozen
1 tbsp nut butter
1 tbsp hemp seeds
2 tbsp rolled oats
1 tsp honey
½ cup spinach
1/4 of avocado
1 cup plant based or dairy milk
1/2 cup ice cubes
Method –
Add everything into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into your favourite smoothie glass and enjoy.
