This recipe is a true keeper. The base of this salad is a grain called millet, which looks a lot like couscous. Millet is a favourite of ours as it is gluten-free, and is a great source of protein and fiber. Millet is a complex carbohydrate, therefore it takes longer to digest, preventing your blood sugar from spiking after eating.
We highly recommend serving this with any of our protein sides.
